The Herbarie's Butter Cream Bath

For the ultimate in bath-time decadence and skin conditioning experience, try The Herbarie's Butter Crème Bath! This formula is full of emollients and conditioners that will leave your skin soft and silky.

The Herbarie's AquaEm is a multifunctional, water-dispersible, emollient product. In this formula, it serves to blend the oils and butters into the bath water.

One unique feature in the Butter Crème Bath is the dispersion of The Herbarie's GuarSilk into glycerin. This cold-mix, dispersion is then incorporated into the melted, hot oil/butter mixture that includes BTMS-Conditioning Emulsifier, PEG 7 Olivate, Behenyl Alcohol, Shea Butter and Rice Bran Oil. These ingredients can be whipped into a rich, butter cream icing consistency. It certainly looks good enough to eat, but don't! Let it dissolve into your warm bath water instead and enjoy!

Procedure: Combine Part A ingredients at room temperature and set aside. Combine all ingredients in Part B and heat until completely melted. Remove from heat and begin cooling process while mixing (the same type mixer that is used for cake batter will work for this formula.) Combine Part C ingredients. As the mixture (combined Part A and B) cools to around 120F/48C, add Part C with continued mixing until cool. Package in a non-breakable jar or Malibu style container. One or two tablespoons per bath are recommended, but more can be used if desired. This formula will be thick and creamy and somewhat firm at room temperature; but will melt as external temperatures increase. This should be taken into consideration when packaging and shipping. The melt point can be increased by adding waxes or decreased by reducing the solid lipids.
