Pearlescent Cream Body Wash with Cocoglucoside SSThis easy and elegant formula features Cocoglucoside SS. This new, ultramild, natural source surfactant has excellent foaming characteristics. GuarSilk adds superior conditioning to the formula while increasing the viscosity. Glycol Stearate helps to build viscosity while leaving the finished product with a creamy feel and pearlescent appearance.
Part A: Add GuarSilk to Distilled Water with mixing. It is helpful to create a vortex and while continuing to stir, add the powder to the center of the vortex. Mix well and set aside to hydrate for 15 minutes. Once hydrated, add Glycol Stearate and begin heating. It’s helpful to use a double boiler since the mixture is very thick and may burn. Heat until Glycol Stearate is completely melted. Part B: Add ingredients to Part A with gentle mixing. Part C: Add remainder of ingredients when temp. is less than 120F and mix. *Some of our favorite Essential Oils for shampoo/body wash:
