Olive Leaf Extract Moisturizing Cream

This formula features the excellent antioxidant qualities of our new Olive Leaf Extract! The addition of the Hydrolyzed Oats and GuarSilk help the skin to retain needed moisture. Behenyl alcohol is a long chain fatty alcohol that is known for it's superb emolliency and velvety feel. This cream has a nice application and dry-down, leaving skin soft and smooth.

Amount 73.2% = 366 grams 3.0% = 15 grams 3.0% = 15 grams 0.4% = 2 grams 0.1% = 0.5 grams 4.0% = 20 grams 6.0% = 30 grams 1.0% = 5 grams 0.5% = 2.5 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 1.0% = 5 grams 1.0% = 5 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 1.0% = 5 grams 1.5% = 7.5 grams 0.3% = 1.5 grams   100.0% = 500 grams

Remove a portion of the distilled water from Part A. Hydrate the GuarSilk at room temp for 15 minutes (approximately) mixing well. Once it is well hydrated, add the GuarSilk back to the water phase and heat Part A to 75C/170F. Heat all solid oil phase ingredients (behenyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, shea butter, ceteareth 20, glyceryl stearate) in Part B to 75C/. Add liquid oil phase ingredients (jojoba oil, fractionated coconut oil, evening primrose oil, tocopherol) to the heated solid oil phase ingredients. Add Part A to Part B with mixing. Cool to less than 50C/122F. Add Part C with mixing.
