Melissa Hydrosol (Melissa officinalis) has a pleasant, uplifting, lemony scent. Its gentle, astringent qualities are excellent for both skin care and hair care. We use Melissa Hydrosol in lotions, creams, facial toners, shampoo and body wash.
Our Melissa is happiest when growing among our roses—they make wonderful companion plants! Melissa or lemon balm herb, as it is commonly called, is traditionally known for it's calming, yet uplifting effect. Melissa has also been recognized for its antiviral and antibacterial qualities. Melissa Hydrosol is for external use only.
