Acacia Natural LotionThis formula features The Herbarie's unique emulsifier blend of Acacia Gum, XanThix, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate and Lecithin. These food grade emulsifiers, along with cetearyl alcohol, work synergistically to provide structure and stability. This unique emulsifier blend also functions to moisturize and condition, leaving the skin soft and silky. We've included the exquisite Abyssinian Oil, along with our Calendula Extract, to provide conditioning and lovely emolliency.
Combine ingredients in Part A and mix -- a hand held whisk works well. Set aside and allow dispersed gums to hydrate for at least 30 minutes, mixing every few minutes as it begins to thicken. When Part A is completely hydrated, heat to 170F in a double boiler to avoid burning. Combine Part B ingredients. Heat Part B to 170F. Add Part B to Part A and mix well (stick blender works well). As emulsion is cooling, add Part C with mixing. *Distilled Water can be replaced with one of The Herbarie Hydrosols if desired.
