Soy Lecithin HLB 4.0
Soy Lecithin consists mainly of phospholipids and all have surface active properties. However, each will have a different HLB value and can have a different physical form. Soy Lecithin HLB 4.0 is a water-in-oil emulsifier. It comes as a viscous, amber-colored liquid. It can be combined with one of the high HLB emulsifiers to form an oil in water emulsion. Soy Lecithin and Olive Oil PEG 7 Esters make a particularly nice emulsifier combo for a cream or lotion.

General Recommended Percentage: 0.2% - 2%.

Physical Form: Amber, viscous liquid.

Solubility: Dispersible in Oil
