Silky Sheer Lotion with PlantaMulse

All Natural Silky Sheer Lotion features our Natural Emulsifier PlantaMulse™. This sheer, non-whitening formula is skin-softening without a heavy feel. PlantaMulse™ emulsions have excellent stability and an exceptionally soft feel.

Cucumber Extract and Pineapple Sage Hydrosol provide nutrients and gentle astringency to the water phase, while Abyssinian Oil, Passionfruit Oil, and Calendula Extract OS condition and smooth dry skin. All ingredients work together to make a light, but conditioning lotion with a soft non-greasy feel.

Ingredient Part A PlantaMulse Abyssinian Oil Passionfruit Oil Calendula Extract OS Coviox T-50 Part B Distilled Water Cucumber Extract Pineapple Sage Hydrosol Hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) Part C FO/EO Optiphen Total

Amount 3.0% = 15 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 5.0% = 25 grams 0.5% = 2.5 grams 70.2% = 351 grams 5.0% = 25 grams 10.0% = 50 grams 0.5% = 2.5 grams 1% = 5 grams 0.8% = 4 grams 100.0% = 500 grams

Part A: Combine all ingredients and heat until all solids are melted. Do not scorch.
Part B: Combine all ingredients at room temperature and begin heating to 175F/79C while stirring continuously. Do not scorch.

Add Part B to Part A all at once and then begin mixing with a high shear mixer such as a stick blender. Continue to mix as emulsion forms and cools to 120F or less.
Add Part C ingredients with mixing (switch from high shear to stir tool such as hand held whisk) when temperature is less than 100F/37C. Package in lotion bottles with pump or dispensing cap.
