The Herbarie's SMC Taurate Surfactant (Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate) and Plantapon LGC Sorb provide excellent lathering and cleansing with a lovely conditioned after-feel. Raspberry Dimethicone WS is highly substantive to hair and also functions as a solubilizer for essential and fragrance oils. Raspberry Dimethicone WS also offers light emolliency for conditioning and improved wet-comb and shine. Silk Amino Acids and Botanical Complex HCA smooth and strengthen the hair cuticle. This formula is recommended for all hair types.

Notes:
--This formula could be easily be made into one for dry or color treated hair by adding 0.2-0.5% GuarSilk, 1-2% EmEster, 1% Botanical Complex LHC, or by increasing the percentage of Raspberry Dimethicone WS – or some combination of these conditioners/emollients.
--Essential oils and fragrance oils and other ingredients effect viscosity, more or less PEG 150 Distearate may be necessary.
--When making changes within a formula, remember to recalculate the percentages to make the formula balance. and/or additions to a formula, I typically subtract the same percentage from the water portion to make the formula balance.
