Rose Hydrosol 2011 is preserved with Leucidal Liquid SF and is lovely to use directly on skin or as part of the water portion of a formulation.
The rose, with it’s beauty and fragrance, has influenced history and inspired more poetry and legends than any other flower. The first rose was found in Crete somewhere between 1700 and 2000 BC. In Greek mythology, Aphrodite the goddess of love, is said to be the creator of the rose. Legend has it that a red rose grew from a mixture of her tears and the blood of her wounded lover Adonis. In Roman mythology, the first rose is said to have come from the blood of Venus, the Roman goddess of love. Cleopatra reportedly seduced Mark Antony on her barge filled with roses. Many have declared the rose to be the Queen of Flowers, the symbol of love, and the flower that is dearest to our hearts.
The Herbarie Rose Hydrosol has a light, rose scent and is excellent for all skin types. It can be used directly on the skin or hair or as part of the water phase in a cream or lotion or toner.
