Raspberry Rose Facial Cleanser

This gentle cleansing formula features Raspberry Dimethicone WS, Herbarie Rose Hydrosol and SMC Taurate Liquid. SMC Taurate Liquid and Raspberry Dimethicone WS offer gentle cleansing and light foaming. VenaSilk, UltraMaize, and XanThix work synergistically to provide a thick, creamy, gel-like product. Herbarie Rose Hydrosol lends its astringent qualities to the formula. This formula is excellent for sensitive skin. All ingredients work together to provide gentle cleansing with a conditioned after-feel.

Ingredient Part A UltraMaize XanThix Rose Hydrosol Part B VenaSilk Glycerin Raspberry Dimethicone WS SMC Taurate Liquid Rose Geranium EO Liquid Germall Plus Total

Amount 2.0%% = 10 grams 0.4% = 2 grams 72.8% = 364 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 3.0% = 15 grams 4.0% = 20 grams 15% = 75 grams 0.5% = 2.5 grams 0.3% = 1.5 grams 100.0% = 500 grams

Part A: Dry mix UltraMaize and XanThix. Creating a vortex, sift into (room temperature) Rose Hydrosol while mixing. It's important to keep the liquid moving while adding the dry ingredients to avoid clumping. Once dispersed, UltraMaize and XanThix must completely hydrate in liquid. Continue to mix off and on for at least 15 minutes to insure complete hydration.

Part B: Add VenaSilk to glycerin to form a paste. Set aside. Carefully heat Part A to approx. 160F to avoid scorching. Add Part B to Part A with mixing. Remove from heat.

Part C: Combine Raspberry Dimethicone WS and Rose Geranium EO. Add this mixture to SMC Taurate Liquid while gently stirring. When Part A/Part B mixture has cooled to 120F or less, combine with Raspberry Dimethicone WS/Rose Geranium EO blend. Add Liquid Germall Plus and stir gently.

The finished product will be translucent, slightly opaque, viscous/gel-like. Package in containers with dispensing caps or pump containers.
