Polyglucose/Lactylate Blend is a natural surfactant blend of decyl glucoside and sodium lauroyl lactylate. The acyl lactylates are mild, natural ingredients that have been used for many years in the food industry and more recently in personal care.
Decyl glucoside is a nonionic natural surfactant made from a reaction between a natural plant oil and a natural plant sugar. This blend of two all natural surfactants creates an exceptionally mild, effective natural surfactant blend that is suitable for shampoo, body wash, baby wash, products for sensitive skin or other natural skin care or hair care products. This blend is concentrated, easy to use and supplied at a ready to use (close to neutral) pH.
The recommended use level of this blend is 10%-50%. For thickening without heat, try XanThix, UltraMaize, GuarSilk, GuarGum or Liquid Crothix. PEG 150 Distearate or Crothix pastilles are two very effective thickeners that can be used with heat to make a crystal clear shampoo or shower gel. Please see our Formulary for more information.
