This fine, white powder is completely natural and rich in skin nourishing carbohydrates which help skin to retain moisture.
OryzaSilk™ moisturizes and conditions skin and will give lotions and creams a luxurious silky feel. OryzaSilk™ also provides emulsions with added stability and viscosity.
OryzaSilk™ can be used at low percentages in some surfactant based systems such facial cleansers and will impart a silky, clean feel after rinse-off. OryzaSilk™ can be used with VenaSilk™, GuarSilk™, GuarThix™, and XanThix™, and UltraMaize™ for synergistic thickening and conditioning.

When OryzaSilk is used in emulsions, it can be dispersed into the melted oil phase just before combining with the water phase. By dispersing into the melted, warmed oil phase, the particles will separate prior to making contact with water. This will help with incorporation into the emulsion.
