May Chang Essential Oil  (Litsea Cubeba)
Steam distilled. Litsea cubeba or May Chang as it is sometimes called has a very "lemony" scent and is widely used in the perfume and soap industries to "anchor" the scents of the true citrus top notes. Litsea can be used in a lotion, cream or soap and is often recommended to treat acne or oily skin. Use sparingly as litsea can sometimes be irritating and it should not be used on broken skin. It blends well with many other essential oils, such as true citrus oils, rosemary, clary sage, florals.
