EmBlend GMS-100 is an economical and easy to use, nonionic self-emulsifying blend for low viscosity oil-in-water emulsions.
EmBlend GMS-100 can be used to make thick or thin emulsions.
For higher oil content/greater viscosity creams or lotions, we recommend using EmBlend GMS-100 from 3-7% with 1-3% fatty alcohol.
For low solids/low oil content light lotions, EmBlend GMS-100 is typically used at 3%.
EmBlend GMS-100 is a complete, self-emulsifying blend. Viscosity and stability can be increased by including a fatty alcohol such as cetearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, or behenyl alcohol.
EmBlend GMS-100 can also be used in anhydrous products such as "emulsified scrubs" to build stability and provide pleasant rinseability.
