Conditioning Shampoo with Natural Thickeners

This cold-mix formula features a natural gum thickener - Xanthix -- coupled with our cationic conditioner GuarSilk. These two products work synergistically to increase viscosity and provide conditioning. Two ultramild surfactants – Plantapon LGC Sorb and Cocamidopropyl Betaine provide gentle cleansing with good foaming. Solu-Silk SF helps to smooth the cuticle and protect hair from damage. PlantaSol CCG serves to solubilize the essential oils into the formula as well as boost foam.

Amount 50.3% = 251.5 grams 0.4% = 2 grams 0.5% = 2.5 grams 10% = 50 grams 30% = 150 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 2.0% = 10 grams 3.0% = 15 grams 1.0% = 5 grams 0.8% = 4 grams 100.0% = 500 grams

Part A: Dry-mix XanThix and GuarSilk. Add XanThix/GuarSilk to Distilled Water with mixing. It is helpful to create a vortex and while continuing to stir, add the powder to the center of the vortex. Mix well and set aside to hydrate for 15 minutes.
Part B: Combine ingredients and add to Part A with gentle mixing.
Part C: Combine PlantaSol CCG with Essential Oils and Optiphen ND gently mix, then add to shampoo mixture with gentle mixing. Package
