Cedarwood Virginiana Essential Oil is steam distilled from the wood of Juniperus virginiana. This Essential Oil has a woody, balsamic scent. Cedarwood Virginiana Essential Oil is useful in aromatherapy and is said to have uplifting and warming qualities. Atlas Cedarwood Essential Oil can be used in skin care in very dilute amounts and cautiously. It shouldn't be used during pregnancy and can be phototoxic when used at high percentages. Cedarwood virginiana is most useful as part of an insect repellent blend or as a deodorizer. Cedarwood Virginiana Essential Oil blends well with Juniper Berry, Vetiver, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang and other essential oils.
